Cymbopogon citratus, commonly known as lemongrass, is a perennial herbaceous plant that forms dense clumps of long, thin, light green leaves. Native to South Asia, it can reach a height of 1 to 1.5 meters. Its leaves emit a strong lemon scent when crushed and are commonly used in cooking and for making teas.
