

Alyssum montanum, known as mountain gold madwort, is a perennial plant in the Brassicaceae family. Native to mountainous regions of Europe, it is characterized by its small yellow flowers that bloom in dense clusters during the spring. It has narrow, lance-shaped, grey-green leaves and forms a low, dense mat, making it ideal for covering rocky soils and alpine gardens.
