Sweet Pea ‘Ruffled’ is an annual climbing plant known for its easy cultivation and continuous flowering throughout the summer months. This variety stands out for its beautifully ruffled blooms and pleasant fragrance, making it an excellent choice for ornamental gardens and cut flower arrangements. Plants can be trained vertically but should be grown in a sheltered position, protected from strong winds. Although adaptable to most soils, it performs best in sunny locations with regular watering. Seeds should be sown directly in their final growing place in early May, in groups of 3-5 seeds near supports. Removing faded flowers prevents seed pod formation and encourages more abundant flowering with brighter colours. A 2.0 g pack (approximately 20 seeds) is sufficient to sow a 4 m long row.
