Carissa macrocarpa is a shrub native to southern Africa, it reaches 2-3 meters in height, although in European gardens it is common to find it as low hedges, its white flowers are reminiscent of jasmine, but larger and less fragrant, it produces fruits subglobose or ovoid and fleshy.
