Nepenthes lowii - Seeds
Nepenthes lowii
Nepenthes lowii is a rare highland pitcher plant. It produces two types of pitchers, a feature that makes it highly interesting to carnivorous plant collectors.
Its cultivation is specialized and requires stable conditions, good humidity, suitable light and a low-nutrient medium. It should be grown as a collector plant with particular requirements, not as an ordinary houseplant.
How to sow Nepenthes lowii seeds
Sow the seeds on the surface of a suitable Nepenthes medium that is moist, airy and low in nutrients. Maintain high humidity, good ventilation and filtered light. Do not bury the seeds deeply and avoid strong fertilizers during early growth.
