Unique tropical tree (3-5 m) native to Southeast Asia. Bears warty fruits (5-8 cm) directly on trunk and main branches (cauliflory). Tart-sweet pulp with distinct aroma. Glossy pinnate leaves emerge reddish. Best for tropical orchards in well-drained soils.
