'Welcome' is an elegant variety of Lathyrus odoratus, valued for its abundant blooms in rich shades ranging from red to fuchsia, together with their delightful fragrance.

How to sow Lathyrus latifolius 'Pink Pearl' seeds

To improve germination, soak the seeds in lukewarm water for 24 hours before sowing. Sow in late winter or spring in a light, well-drained substrate, covering the seeds with about 1 cm of soil. Keep the substrate moist but not waterlogged and place in a bright location. Germination usually occurs within 10-30 days. Once seedlings are well established, transplant them to their final position near a support structure where they can climb.
