Black sapote - Seeds
Diospyros nigra
Tropical fruit from Central America and Mexico, where the Mayans called it Tauch. Its ripe fruit has a thin green skin, containing a dark brown pulp with an exotic taste, similar to chocolate, and a peculiar mousse-like texture. It is consumed fresh as a dessert or in sweets and jams.
