Cucurbita moschata
Harvested in 125 days after planting the seedlings. Fruits are pear shaped, has green striped peel, weighs about 10 kilograms. The flesh is orange, sweet and has a pleasant taste of nuts. Suitable for steaming, frying, are good for soups and baking. Harvest can be stored for 5-6 months. Grow best in sandy loam or loamy soil, in areas sheltered from the wind.
