Pink peacock flower - Seeds
Caesalpinia pulcherrima \'Rosea\'
Caesalpinia pulcherrima 'Rosea', pink peacock flower, is a tropical ornamental plant valued for its pink bloom. After flowering it forms pods that open when ripe.
Its manageable size and showy flowers make it attractive for warm gardens and container growing. It provides an exotic effect without needing the space required by larger tropical trees.
How to sow pink peacock flower seeds
Sow in a fertile, well-drained medium and keep moderately moist. Hard seeds may benefit from appropriate pretreatment if you know the correct method. Place the tray in a warm, bright, sheltered position.
