Mexican flamevine - Seeds
Pseudogynoxys chenopodioides
Pseudogynoxys chenopodioides, Mexican flamevine, is an ornamental climbing plant valued for its vivid flowers. The bright orange color gives it a strong tropical presence in warm gardens or container culture.
It can be trained on supports, trellises or light structures where conditions allow. In cooler areas it is best grown with protection, good light and a well-drained medium.
How to sow Mexican flamevine seeds
Sow the seeds in a light, well-drained medium and keep evenly moist. Place the tray in a warm, bright spot. When young plants begin to lengthen, provide support to guide their climbing habit.
