Allamanda cathartica, known as golden trumpet, is a climbing plant recognized for its large yellow trumpet-shaped flowers. According to the source description, the flowers can be very showy and may reach about 15 cm.

This is a striking ornamental species for warm gardens, sheltered patios or collections of tropical climbers. Its intense yellow flowering is the plant’s main feature.

How to sow golden trumpet seeds

Sow the seeds in a light, fertile and well-drained substrate. Keep the seed tray in a bright, sheltered place with regular moisture but no excess water.

As the seedlings develop, give them space and support if they begin to climb. Transplant carefully to avoid damaging the young roots.
