Rhaphidophora megasperma is a tropical aroid whose foliage changes with age. In later life, the leaves develop large, irregularly shaped holes, a feature that makes the species attractive to collectors.

As a climber, it benefits from support and a warm, humid environment. Its main appeal lies in the changing foliage and the tropical character of the mature plant.

How to sow Rhaphidophora megasperma seeds

Sow in a moist, airy, well-drained medium, placing seeds on the surface or only lightly covered. Maintain warmth, stable humidity and filtered light. As plants develop, provide support for climbing growth.
