Liatris spicata, also known as "Dense blazing star," is a herbaceous perennial native to North America, known for its striking flower spikes and ability to attract pollinators. Its upright stems, which can reach a height of 60 to 120 cm, are covered with narrow, lance-shaped leaves of deep green, which group at the base of the plant.
