Abelmoschus manihot
Shrub up to 2.5 metres tall, with palmate leaves and serrated edges. Large yellow flowers with a dark centre. In Japan it is used for making Washi or Japanese paper. It previously belonged to the Hibiscus genus but was reassigned to Abelmoschus.
